Oil Painting Commissioned Dog Portrait | Welsh Corgi “Loki”

artist oil painting dog commission welsh corgi

This is one of two Commissioned Portraits that I did for a client for Christmas last year. (in 2016). I had never painted a leather texture before, and I found it challenging yet really fun to do. The most challenging part was in trying to get the sheen that was on the cushions and arm to look realistic, since the photo I was using didn’t have much detail in those areas.

This commissioned artwork of “Loki” the Welsh Corgi, is NOT AVAILABLE.

If you would like to commission a similar painting of your dog, cat, or 2-legged family member or friend, please contact me using the link, below. I would love to work with you to create a memory on canvas…of your two or 4-legged family member or of a special place.
